9/12: First Sr. High Large Group of the Year

Join us for the first large group of the year!  Come and enjoy the fun.  This is a mandatory meeting for all those going to Johnsonburg.

9/17-9/19: Johnsonburg ‘10

Hey all!  It’s Johnsonburg ’10 time!

-          Johnsonburg is earlier this year: September 17-19.

-          Register by filling out the registration form on the right-hand side of the page!

-          Remember, we will need your Health Form and 2010-2011 Release Form or you cannot attend.  We need to let Camp Johnsonburg know our final numbers on Monday, September 13 so you must be paid in full by Sunday, September 12!

-          The cost of the weekend is $100.00.  You can make checks payable to “LVPC” and write “Johnsonburg” in the memo line.  Please submit your checks to me either by mail or in person.  Do not let cost be an issue.  If you need financial assistance, please let me know and it will remain confidential between you and your family.  Cost is never a reason not to attend!

-          We are meeting at the church on Friday, September 25 at 4:00 PM sharp. Please be there on time so we can pack your bags and take off.  Sunday morning we will arrive back at church by 12 noon.

-          If the 4:00 time is a problem because of sports, please let us know and we can contact your coach and get you off early.

-          Please pack light.  Due to space limitations you can only bring 1 small bag.  You will need warm clothes for outdoor activities.  Here are the essentials: Sleeping bag, pillow, a few changes of clothes (ones that you do not mind getting dirty) warm clothes, flashlight, Bible, toiletries, towel, and an open mind and heart.  NOTE: CELL PHONE USE IS ALLOWED ONLY FOR EMERGENCIES!

-          Please bring a sandwich, snacks, & drink with you on Friday.  You must provide your own dinner for Friday evening!

Also, we will be participating in the Ninth Annual Saint Clare’s Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness on Sunday morning to support the mother of one of our youth members in her fight against breast cancer.  Parental Consent forms are mandatory for youth under 18. Please return them with the rest of the paperwork.  We will be collecting cash and check donations at our Sunday, September 12 meeting which will be sent to the Saint Clare’s Foundation.
