Welcome to Worship at LVPC.  Have a question that's not answered below, send us an email and we'll add it.

What are your worship services like?

We worship in a variety of settings with a mix of worship arts.  Our goal is for all of God's children, young and old, praise god and grow spiritually.  Click on the 'worship services' tab under Worship Ministries to learn about our three types of services.

How should I dress?

Wear whatever is comfortable for you.  Most people dress casual.  You will see slacks and jeans, blouses and collared shirts, any perhaps a tie here or there.  If you are comfortable then we are comfortable.  How you dress isn't important to us, and we don't think it's important to God either.

Where do I go?

The sanctuary has two entrances.  The main entrance is in the front of the building; however, many people use the side entrance from the Fellowship Hall, especially if you park in the back parking lot.  The side entrance is where you will find the restroom as well, upstairs or downstairs on the left.

Do kids attend worship?

Long Valley Presbyterian is a great place for kids.  Children are welcome in worship (even skirmy ones).  We love them all.  During the 10:00 service, aftern the children's message, most children ages pre-K to Jr. High attend the Journeys program.  Some parents choose to have their children in worship throughout the service.  Either way, we're glad they are here worshiping and celebrating the grace of God.

Is there a nursery?

A nursery is available for all of our services.  Take the side-entrance from the sancturary and go downstairs; it's the first classroom on the left.  The nursery is professionally staffed and professionally cleaned each week.

Where's the coffee?

We do love our coffee  In fact, some have become addicted to how good the coffee is at LVPC.  We serve fresh Dominican coffee brough back from our yearly mission trip to the Dominican Republic.  After worship follow the crowd out the side entrance and up the stairs into the Fellowship Hall.
